Two Rocks crash driver jailed

A man crashed head-on into another car on Two Rocks Rd in September last year killing his son and seriously injuring the other driver.

A MAN who crashed his car on Two Rocks Rd on September 25 last year has been sentenced to four years in jail.

The crash resulted in the death of the man’s 20-year-old son and serious internal injuries and a fracture to the left knee of the driver of the car he crashed into.

The ABC reported the 41-year-old man was sentenced to four years for the offence of dangerous driving causing death, and a term of two-and-a-half years for causing grievous bodily harm to the driver of the other car.

The report said Judge Eaton ordered both terms be served concurrently, meaning the total term was four years.

He will have to serve two years before he can be released on parole and was also disqualified from holding a drivers licence for five years.
