THE Two Rocks Yanchep Residents Association will hold its annual general meeting on Monday, November 28 at the Phil Renkin Community Centre, Two Rocks.

A normal monthly meeting will follow the annual general meeting following which residents can enjoy a Christmas drink and nibbles.

At the association’s October meeting it was mentioned that Carols in the Park would be on at Charnwood Park on Saturday, December 10.

The minutes also recorded councillor Natalie Sangalli as saying the turning on of Christmas Lights at Two Rocks Shopping Centre would be in conjunction with the markets at the Tavern and the Pickled Herring was looking into having live music.

There will be a big tree in the centre of the shopping centre and the tourism group is also looking into getting a school choir to be involved as well.

There have been inquiries to the council in regard to safety on Two Rocks Road as to who will put up a speed trailer to remind drivers not to speed along Two Rocks Road.

An information meeting about the dualling of Marmion Ave from Lukin Dr to Butler Blvd was held at the Butler Community Centre on Thursday, November 17 from 6.30pm to 8pm.

The roadworks are due to be completed in September, 2017.
