A PERSON found in a burnt out vehicle in Yanchep on the weekend is yet to be formally identified, according to WA Police.
On Thursday, March 12 a police spokeswoman said officers were called to a bush track near the intersection of Old Yanchep Rd and Haddrill Rd just after 12.05pm on Sunday, March 8 after a report of a body being located in a burnt-out vehicle.
She said forensic and arson squad officers also attended the scene and investigations into the circumstances of the person’s death are ongoing.
