IT is time for art enthusiasts to get their artwork in for the City of Wanneroo’s 2018 Community Art Awards with entries open to all Western Australians on Monday, February 12.
A City of Wanneroo spokeswoman said once 230 entries had been received there would be no further entries accepted.
She said the community art awards gave a range of artists the opportunity to exhibit their work, from hobbyists right through to professionals.
“With a prize pool of almost $17,000 up for grabs, it is easy to see why it is such a popular event,’’ she said.
The exhibition will be shown at the Gallery, Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre from Saturday, May 12 to Friday, June 22.
Entrants must be aged over 16.
City of Wanneroo residents have been able to enter the awards since Monday, February 5.
