BRITISH India is one of Australia’s best known bands with four ARIA Top 10 Albums and 16 single releases.
They perform at major festivals across the country and each year, continue to sell out their high-octane shows and produce exciting new music.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said the free concert was a great opportunity for the community to enjoy first class entertainment at local venue for free.
“British India are an incredibly talented band who have successfully toured the country multiple times and have opened for the Rolling Stones,’’ she said.
“We are very excited to welcome them to the city.
“The city’s annual concert gives families the opportunity to create lasting memories,” she said.
“Families can also indulge in a range of delicious offerings from Perth’s best mobile food trucks or pack a picnic and enjoy quality entertainment under the stars.
“Tickets sell out fast so don’t miss out on treating your family to a fantastic night out.”
This year’s support line-up will be announced later this month.
Residents can like the city’s Facebook page to keep up to date with event announcements including food vendors, support acts and ticketing reminders
Tickets are free but essential and will be available exclusively to the City of Wanneroo residents from 9am Monday, October 3.
Any remaining tickets will open to those who live outside of the city from 9am Monday, October 17.
