THE Wilbinga open day, which starts at 9am tomorrow morning and runs until 1pm, includes presentations on tyre deflation and vehicle demonstrations and talks.
Wilbinga is the closest accessible area north of Perth for licensed recreational off-road vehicles.
The first entrance is off Indian Ocean Dr and Wilbinga Dr and the second entrance is off Indian Ocean Dr at the Wilbinga picnic area.
At 9am Parks and Wildlife Service staff will be at both entrances to chat to people and answer questions about camping in the area, private property boundaries, fire and vehicle movement bans, conservation and future works.
At 9.15am there will be a tyre deflation talk by Global Gypsies at the Wilbinga Grove picnic area while at the same time Adventure Offroad Training will give a talk on the same subject but at Wilbinga Rd (700m west of Indian Ocean Dr).
At 11am there will be shackles and snatch strap recovery with Global Gypsies.
From noon there will be recovery demonstrations and sand dune driving with Adventure Offroad Training near the shacks.
All vehicles must be licenced.
