Woman charged after Alkimos assault

A Kingsley woman has been charged after a 21-year-old Alkimos man was assaulted in his home.

A WOMAN who allegedly assaulted an Alkimos man earlier this year has been charged.

WA Police said Joondalup detectives had charged a 20-year-old Kingsley woman as a result of their investigation into an incident on Sunday, January 22.

A police spokeswoman said the woman was due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 31.

The spokeswoman said police would allege the Kingsley woman was one of the two people who entered a home in Malleefowl Way, Alkimos and assaulted a 21-year-old man who lived there.

“The victim received serious injuries to his hand and back,’’ she said.

The Kingsley woman was charged with aggravated burglary and commit, aggravated armed assault with intent to rob, grievous bodily harm and with an act or mission causing bodily harm.

Detectives have already charged a 28-year-old Gosnells man in relation to the incident.
