A BUSHFIRE advice has been issued for some suburbs in the cities of Wanneroo and Stirling due to the Wooroloo bushfire.
The bushfire advice released by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services also includes some suburbs in the City of Swan and the shires of Chittering, Toodyay and Mundaring.
It is important to note that a bushfire advice means while there is no immediate danger people need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.
The bushfire advice is in place for people in parts of Alexander Heights, Ashby, Avon Valley National Park, Balga, Ballajura, Banksia Grove, Bennett Springs, Bullsbrook, Carabooda, Carramar, Chittering, Cullacabardee, Darch, Girrawheen, Gnangara, Hocking, Jandabup, Koondoola, Landsdale, Lexia, Lower Chittering, Madeley, Malaga, Marangaroo, Mariginiup, Melaleuca, Mirrabooka, Moondyne, Morangup, Muchea, Neerabup, Nowergup, Pearsall, Pinjar, Sinagra, Tapping, Wangara, Wanneroo and Whiteman in the shires of Chittering, Toodyay and the cities of Stirling, Swan and Wanneroo and in parts of Beechina, Chidlow, Greenmount, Hovea, Jane Brook, Mount Helena, Mundaring, Parkerville, Sawyers Valley, Stoneville and Swan View in the Shire of Mundaring and City of Swan.
A bushfire advice gives people time to check their bushfire survival plans or if people do not have a plan decide what they will do if the situation gets worse.
The Wooroloo bushfire was reported at 12.02pm on February 1.
So far 10,463ha have been burnt and 71 homes lost.

This morning on ABC Radio DFES incident controller Sven Andersen said firefighters were working on the western side of the bushfire to prevent it from spreading further west.
Mr Andersen said so far they were holding it from spreading westwards.
Yesterday the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said dry and gusty easterly winds were expected across the Wooroloo bushfire site into Friday.
“Shifts in winds can provide relief to some areas under threat from fires but can put other areas under threat, affecting firefighting efforts in different ways,’’ the BoM statement said.’’
The winds were forecast to remain fresh and gusty easterlies during the weekend with conditions then becoming humid from expected rain from the north due to a tropical low expected to track southwards.
“Perth is likely to see 20 to 40 millimetres of rain but may receive as much as 50 to 80 millimetres during the weekend.’’
Meanwhile the smoke alert for northern suburbs has been updated and now Gnangara, Hocking, Wanneroo, Edgewater, Heathridge, Bullsbrook, Muchea, Two Rocks, Yanchep, Alkimos, Quinns Rocks and surrounding areas.
The smoke is not expected to clear for another several days.
