Butler man in court over Ellenbrook incident

A BUTLER man has been remanded in custody and is due back in the Perth Magistrates Court on June 2 for a bail application.

The 53-year-old man had already had his bail refused and appeared before the Midland Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 14.

WA Police charged the man with acts likely to endanger life, health or safety of a person, criminal damage or destruction of property and unlawfully discharging a firearm from or across a road.

Midland detectives investigated after an incident at a home in Rocklea Cres near Thundelarra Ave in Ellenbrook at about 7.20pm on Wednesday, May 13.

Police alleged that during the incident a vehicle received damage consistent with being struck by projectiles, possibly caused by the discharge of a firearm.
