MAJOR crime detectives are investigating reports of several people fighting in Capilano Ave in Yanchep.
WA Police said it was believed that during the incident a man in his 20s sustained serious injuries.
A police spokeswoman said the man was being driven to hospital by friends when police intercepted the vehicle about 3.10am on Saturday, December 14 on Wanneroo Rd, between Trian Rd and Kiro St in Carabooda.
Police officers immediately provided first aid to the man until St John WA paramedics arrived but the man was unable to be revived.
She said several people were assisting police with their inquiries.
