The proposed Neerabup resource recovery precinct will border Old Yanchep Rd and Trandos Rd.

Dear Yanchep News Online,

I am writing to advise your readers that the Carramar & Tapping Residents Association is hosting a community forum, which will include discussion about the proposed Neerabup resource recovery precinct this evening Monday, March 9 starting at 7pm at the Carramar Community Centre.

The forum has been convened to discuss a range of local matters currently affecting residents, including the proposed waste facility and related environmental, planning and community impacts.

A formal agenda will be circulated prior to the meeting.

This is not a closed or suburb limited meeting.

Residents from all surrounding communities are invited and elected representatives from all wards and levels of government are strongly encouraged to attend given the regional significance of the issues being discussed.

A representative from Zero Waste Australia will also be present to provide an information session and host a Q&A to ensure attendees have access to factual, technical information, if you have a recommendation to add to the panel, we welcome it.

We ask that all participants engage respectfully to support a constructive and informative discussion for the benefit of the wider community.

A Weatherill

Carramar & Tapping Residents Association president
