THE investigation into the death of a 27-year-old man in Yanchep earlier this month continues with homicide squad detectives looking into the possible involvement of other people.
Detectives are appealing for information from anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Grampians Loop, Blackwood Meander and Marmion Ave in Yanchep on Sunday, March 1 from 6pm to 7pm.
In particular, detectives are interested in anyone who may have also sighted a man on an e-scooter in the area at the time.
Yanchep News Online understands the 27-year-old man, who is believed to have been camping near the Yanchep water tanks, was known to police.
WA Police have charged 30-year-old Warren Robert Collard of Rivervale with the alleged murder of the 27-year-old.
Mr Collard’s next court appearance will be in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 18.
A second man was initially assisting police with their inquiries.
