A REPORT about a fire near Breakwater Dr and Mayflower Dr earlier this afternoon appears to have been a false alarm, according to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
At 1.28pm a Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) spokeswoman said a triple zero call had been made at 12.45pm saying there was a rubbish fire near a school on Breakwater Dr.
The spokeswoman said Yanchep Volunteer Fire and Rescue crews had attended but after searching the area they had found no evidence of smoke or fire.
At 1.58pm an alert said a burn off was happening near Cinnamon Meander.
