
A MAN has died after allegedly being struck with a machete at a service station in Landsdale yesterday afternoon.
WA Police said about 4.15pm yesterday, July 6 police and St John ambulance officers were called to reports of an unconscious man at a service station on Mullingar Way.
A police spokeswoman said upon arrival officers established two men had been in a physical altercation outside the service station, during which a third man approached the victim and struck him with a machete.
The victim – a man in his 20s – received injuries consistent with stab wounds and died at the scene.
A 28-year-old man is assisting police with their inquiries.
