JAWS of life were used to free a man trapped in a vehicle after a crash at the top of Blaxland Ave near the Dhufish Way intersection in Two Rocks last night.

WA Police said about 8pm it appears a Dodge Journey four-wheel drive hit a parked Land Rover Discovery and then flipped over.

A police spokeswoman said Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) personnel extracted the 72-year-old male driver from the vehicle.

He was checked by a St John WA crew but not taken to hospital.

DFES said crews from the Yanchep Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service and Butler fire station attended the crash.
