Info sought after Muckenburra fatal accident

MAJOR crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash in Muckenburra on Saturday, June 6.

About 3.10pm a white Toyota Hilux ute was travelling east on Gingin Brook Rd when it left the road and collided with a tree and power pole.

The crash caused a small scrub fire.

As a result of the crash, a 19-year-old man from Bakers Hill died at the scene.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash, saw the Toyota prior to the crash or have dash cam footage leading up to or of the crash.

At the time the Toyota Hilux ute had a yellow motorcycle in the tray.

Meanwhile, Lancelin Police have had a quad bike handed in by a member of the public.
