
WA Police have charged a man with assault and public order offences following an incident at a shopping centre in Alkimos last weekend.
A police spokesman said about 5pm on Sunday, May 4, police received reports of a male acting suspiciously in the area.
They will allege the man approached two children in two separate incidents, grabbing one by the arm and touching another on the shoulder.
Police attended and found the man at a nearby service station on Santorini Promenade where he was taken into custody.
A 33-year-old man from Gosnells has been charged with two counts of aggravated common assault and two counts of disorderly behaviour.
He is next due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on May 26.
Police are calling for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage who was in the vicinity of Santorini Promenade and Marmion Avenue about the time of the incident to upload via this public link
