
A CLARKSON man is due back in the Joondalup Magistrates Court via video link on Friday, October 11 after being charged with burglary and stealing offences in Alkimos, Yanchep and Clarkson.
His arrest followed an operation by Joondalup detectives after burglary and stealing incidences at homes under construction in housing estates.
Police allege that between July 30 and August 26 the man gained entry into and stole home appliances from some under construction homes.
They also allege the man was captured driving on seven occasions despite having no authority to drive.
On Tuesday, August 27 police executed a search warrant at an address in Clarkson and allege they located methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The man was charged with five counts of burglary with intent on a place, four cases of burglary and commit on a place, four counts of stealing, two counts of possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property, one count of possess prohibited drug (methylamphetamine), one count of possessed any drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant and seven counts of no authority to drive.
His first appearance before the Joondalup Magistrates Court was on September 4.
WA Police encourage members of the public to report any suspicious activity, such as burglary and stealing incidents within homes under construction to their local police station.
