
NEW exposure sites in Guilderton and Lancelin have been added to the list of sites visited by confirmed Covid-19 cases.
Anyone who visited the Guilderton Country Club on Wedge St, on Saturday, March 12 between 8.30pm and 9.45pm needs to 7 to monitor for symptoms unless directly advised otherwise by the department – if symptoms develop they need to get tested and isolate.
Anyone who visited the Endeavour Tavern, 53 Gingin Rd on Sunday, March 13 between 12.30pm and 2.30pm needs to follow the above advice.
Today WA Health reported four people who tested positive to Covid-19 have died.
By 8pm last night 5838 new cases of Covid-19 had been reported.
There are currently 35,008 active cases in Western Australia.
The Department of Health said three men (aged in their 40s, 60s and 90s) and a woman in her 60s who tested positive to Covid-19 had died.
The man in his 90s died on Thursday but was reported to WA Health yesterday.
Due to patient confidentiality, no further information will be released by the department on these deaths.
To 8pm last night, there were 147 people with Covid-19 in hospital, four in ICU.
Up to 8pm last night there were 30,215 active cases in the metropolitan area with 5012 new cases added yesterday.
The Wheatbelt had 382 active cases with 70 new cases added up to 8pm last night.

Of the 5838 cases, 2605 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 3233 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 14,044 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 81,395 cases since the Covid-19 pandemic began.
