MAJOR crash investigation officers are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Brand Hwy in Bambun this morning.
WA Police said about 5.35am, a white Kenworth truck combination and a Volvo truck combination travelling north on Brand Hwy were involved in a collision with a red Holden Commodore sedan travelling south.
A police spokeswoman said the 38-year-old male driver of the Commodore died from his injuries at the scene.
“The 25-year-old male driver of the Kenworth truck was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries,’’ she said.
“The 40-year-old driver of the Volvo truck was uninjured.’’
Brand Hwy just south of Airfield Rd will remain closed throughout the afternoon.
