FOR anyone travelling on Indian Ocean Dr or Military Rd a smoke alert has been issued for Caraban, Guilderton and surrounds in the Shire of Gingin.
This morning the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) said the smoke was from a Parks and Wildlife Service prescribed burn 12kms east-south-east of Guilderton.
Smoke may affect Indian Ocean Dr and Military Rd overnight and motorists are asked to drive to the conditions.
