Two men die in Indian Ocean Dr crash

MAJOR crash investigators are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Yanchep on Sunday, September 6.

WA Police said about 1.55pm a white Mitsubishi Triton utility was travelling north on Indian Ocean Dr, just north of Yanchep Beach Rd.

At the same time a blue Toyota LandCruiser was travelling south on the same road.

The two vehicles collided head-on near a bend in the road.

Two 33-year-old men in the Mitsubishi Triton died at the scene.

The two occupants of the Toyota LandCruiser were not seriously injured.

Major crash investigators are appealing for anyone who has dash camera vision, photos or CCTV of either vehicle involved prior to the crash to upload the vision via this link:

Meanwhile today Monday, September 7 Main Roads WA said Indian Ocean Dr between Yanchep Beach Rd and Breakwater Dr had been reduced to 60k/h due to a diesel spill and asked drivers to drive with caution.
