THREE people were injured – two of them seriously – in a crash on Wanneroo Rd in Yanchep yesterday evening.
In initial information WA Police said about 5.05pm last night a Toyota Camry travelling south on Wanneroo Rd in Yanchep attempted to overtake a line of traffic.
While overtaking, the vehicle collided head on with a Holden Commodore travelling in the opposite direction on Wanneroo Rd.
The female driver of the Toyota Camry, a woman in her 50s was taken to hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.
The male driver of the Holden Commodore – a man in his 30s – and a male infant passenger, sustained serious injuries.
Both were conveyed to hospital via St John WA.
The major crash investigation section is investigating the crash.
