TWO Rocks SES is asking residents take note the trajectory of tropical cyclone Narelle has been changed to show a course that hugs the coast and tucks inland a little more north than originally anticipated.

But heavy rain and gusty winds are stilled expected and a flood warning is still in place for low lying areas and around the Moore River.

Tonight the Two Rocks SES unit will be open from 6pm to 10pm and 1pm to 4pm Friday to assist with sandbags and some advice on their best use.

The supply will be limited to an amount per household and they will have a limited amount of clean sand to refill sandbags for those who need it.

On their Facebook page Two Rocks SES said it was their preference to help those who need it most first such as anyone elderly or physically not able to help themselves to the extent that others can.

Although the trajectory of tropical cyclone Narelle has changed Two Rocks SES says heavy rain and gusty winds are stilled expected and a flood warning is still in place for low lying areas and around the Moore River.

“Remember to look after and check in on our neighbours and help each other out,’’ their Facebook post said.

“Mother Nature does not discriminate.

“Please keep up to date with the warnings.

“Be prepared, be alert (but not alarmed) and please stay out of floodwaters.”

Call 132 500 for SES assistance or 000 if it is life threatening.
