RESEARCHERS at Curtin University are looking for people to test a free, self-help guide to improve mental health during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) guide provides ideas from international experts to improve mental health and wellbeing in children, teenagers, adults and older adults.

The research is being conducted by Dr Sarah Egan and co-investigators Professor Roz Shafran, Professor Peter McEvoy, Dr Rebecca Anderson, Dr Trevor Mazzucchelli, Sarah Ure, and Christopher Gill in the School of Psychology, Curtin University.

Participants need not have mental health problems to join in, as the guide provides strategies to improve general wellbeing but need to be 18-years-old or over and live in Australia.

The project is funded by the Western Australian state government and the Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) has approved the study (HREC number HRE2020-0424).

To take part visit covidcbt.org  and you will be sent an initial survey asking you some questions to determine whether you are eligible.
