Cowalla bushfire downgraded to watch and act

A BUSHFIRE watch and act monitor conditions as they are changing is in place for people in the area bounded by Baramba Rd, Cowalla Rd and west of Nabaroo Rd in parts of Cowalla in the Shire of Gingin.

At 5.47pm DFES said the alert level for the bushfire had been downgraded as the fire was now contained.

The bushfire, which is stationary and contained but not controlled, has burnt 290ha.
