THE Yanchep Community Men’s Shed is having a display during a free family fun day at the Yanchep Sports & Social Club on Sunday, April 19.
Courageous Church is organising the outdoor event, which runs from 10am to noon, but the Yanchep Community Men’s Shed will be at the sports and social club from 8.30am so you can meet members and see what they have been working on.
There will also be games to play – jenga, bean bag throw into the holes and dominoes.
Some of the other things planned for the family fun day include a mascot meet-and-greet – say hi to your favourite Chase, Skye and Marshal and a free Noah’s Animal Farm – a favourite for the children to get up close with friendly farm animals.
Free glitter tattoos – three talented glitter artists ready to bring the colour and sparkle.
Free kids colouring competition – simple, fun and easy for all ages to join in.
Free hotdog and water for the first 300 people.
Free come-and-try multi sports activities with Ready Steady Go Kids Yanchep – a chance for children to get active and try something new.
Free Muay Thai experience with King Neptune Muay Thai – fun, beginner friendly sessions for children to build confidence and try something new.
Free newborn support with Embrace Her Midwifery – newborn demos, pregnancy and baby advice, plus freebies for parents and parents-to-be.
Free Overflow Op Shop – clothes, toys, shoes and more all free for local families.
The resident bus café Bridget’s House will be open and serving coffee and treats and there will be live music with Ben Farrr-Wharton from Benny’s Billions.
The Yanchep Sports & Social Club is at 81 Yanchep Beach Rd, Yanchep.
Courageous Church is asking people to register so they can plan food, activities and resources for everyone attending.
