Information sought after teenager dies in Clarkson

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a white Holden Colorado utility or any suspicious activity in the Clarkson area at the time.

HOMICIDE detectives are investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy in Clarkson on Saturday, November 7.

At 5.03pm Sunday, November 8 WA Police said a 20-year-old Ocean Reef man had been charged with manslaughter.

He will appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court tomorrow Monday, November 9.

Police said about 6pm on Saturday, the victim was in Portslade Lane and became involved in an incident in which he clung to the side of a vehicle as the vehicle fled the area.

He fell from the vehicle striking the ground heavily and died at the scene.

A Holden Colorado utility was located in Ocean Reef later that evening.
