
A SENIOR constable who was charged after a serious traffic crash in Yanchep on Thursday, May 23 has appeared in the Joondalup Magistrate’s Court.
His case has been adjourned for a police committal mention on Friday, August 23.
WA Police said it will be alleged the 51-year-old male senior constable, who was off-duty at the time, was the driver of vehicle that collided with another about 12.45pm on Indian Ocean Dr.
Major crash officers charged him with two counts of endanger life, health or safety of a person and appeared before the Joondalup Magistrate’s Court on Friday, June 14, 2019.
The officer, who works for state traffic, was stood down from duty.
