Search underway for pup, which runs away after accident

LANCELIN Police are seeking assistance in the search for a four-month-old pup after an accident in the Shire of Gingin.

The pup a great dane called Laika was scared and ran away after their owner had a crash just north of the Breton Bay rest area today Sunday, April 14.

According to the Shire of Gingin website rangers are on duty and available from 8am to 4pm, seven days a week on 9575 5140.

“Rangers are only available for an after-hours call back for urgent issues, e.g. dog attacks in progress or stock on roads.’’ the website said.
