WA Police are currently responding to a serious traffic crash that occurred in Yanchep on Wednesday, January 7.
About noon police received a report that a vehicle and a motorcycle had collided at the intersection of Indian Ocean Dr and Yanchep Beach Rd.
Emergency services are currently at the scene and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
At 2.40pm Main Roads WA (@Perth Traffic) said Wanneroo Rd was closed in both directions between Pipidinny Rd and Old Yanchep Rd.
Police said one person has received critical injuries as a result of the crash.

- At 5.38pm WA Police said the rider of the motorcycle, a 56-year-old man, died at the scene.
