About 1.45am yesterday two E-Scooters were being ridden east on Selacosa Ave in Jindalee, each with a rider and passenger.

At the same time a Ford Ranger utility was being driven north on Marmion Ave.

One of the E-Scooters and the Ford Ranger collided at the intersection of the two roads.

The two boys on the E-Scooter involved in the crash, one aged 13 and the other 14-years-old, were ejected from the E-Scooter and received serious, life-threatening injuries.

Both injured boys were taken to Joondalup Health Campus by St John Ambulance and then one was transferred to Royal Perth Hospital and the other to Perth Children’s Hospital.

By 3.42pm yesterday both boys had been transferred to Perth Children’s Hospital.

The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 30-year-old man, was not seriously injured.
