Teens back in court in June after Butler charges

Three teenagers, who appeared in court today, are due back in court in June after a man was hit by a car in a shopping centre carpark in Butler on Friday, May 24.

THREE teenagers are due back in court next month after their first appearances today following an incident in Butler on Friday night, which left a 27-year-old man with serious injuries.

On Sunday, May 26 Joondalup detectives charged the three teenagers with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Two 19-year-old men appeared in the Joondalup Magistrates Court and are due back in court on Friday, June 7.

The 17-year-old girl appeared in the Perth Children’s Court and is due back in court on Tuesday, June 4.

A WA Police spokesman said the three – a 19-year-old man from Butler, a 19-year-old man from Burns Beach and a 17-year-old girl from Burns Beach were arrested on Saturday night.
