Two Rocks emerging as a property hot spot

Atlantis Beach estate project director Jarrod Rendell says infrastructure in the area is undergoing a major transformation along with work continuing on the upgrade of the Two Rocks marina.

TWO Rocks is undergoing a housing boom and emerging as a property hot spot for new housing development, according to Atlantis Beach estate project director Jarrod Rendell.

Mr Rendell said that the latest ABS figures reveal that Two Rocks recorded building approvals valued at more than $40 million last financial year and outperformed the overall Perth metropolitan area in new housing development growth.

“The housing boom in Two Rocks is underlined by the fact that it set a new record in its development with 130 residential dwelling approvals last financial year valued at more than $43 million – a jump of 24 per cent from the previous financial year,’’ he said.

“In contrast, the overall value of residential approvals for Perth fell by nearly 18 per cent during the same period highlighting Two Rocks as a major property hot spot.

“The ABS figures also reveal that over the past three financial years more than 360 new dwellings have been approved in Two Rocks valued at more than $100 million.

“Exceptional value for money in land prices and a massive investment in new infrastructure is driving this surge in new housing development along the coast.’’
