AT 3.02pm DFES said the warning for Yanchep had been downgraded to advice – monitor conditions – as the fire was contained but not controlled.
Yanchep Lagoon Primary School students should be picked up from the northern entrance on Primary Rd.
The bushfire advice is in place for people bounded by Yanchep Beach Rd, Marmion Ave, Brazier Rd and Flagtail Outlook.
At 3.07pm DFES said a number of roads had been closed including Lagoon Dr between Primary Rd and Flagtail Outlook, St Ives Dr and Newlyn Pl.
