THERE was a crash and rollover on Old Yanchep Rd, near the intersection of Westco Rd, in Nowergup this afternoon.
WA Police said they were notified at 1.20pm today that two vehicles had crashed.
A police spokesman said the information available indicated four people had been involved including a mother with a six-month-old child.
About 5pm a motorist, who was one of the first people on the scene of the crash, told Yanchep News Online that five people including the mother and her baby had been in the car, which had flipped.
She said a male and two females had been in the second vehicle.
About 5.05pm a Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) spokeswoman said the baby had been taken to Perth Children’s Hospital for a check up and the mother was in a stable condition at JHC.
RAC Rescue had earlier been sent to the crash, which was attended by career fire and rescue service firefighters.
At 3.15pm the Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the rescue helicopter had no longer been required at the accident.
