AMBERTON residents can enjoy a free double Movie Night in the Park in Eglinton on Saturday, December 3.

A special outdoor screening of the family movie Zootopia will be followed by the movie Point Break in the park on Cinnabar Dr.

The free entertainment kicks off at 6pm with face painting and giant games of jenga, connect four, quoits and noughts and crosses.

Guests can look forward to free popcorn and coffee at the event, with the first movie scheduled to start around 7.30pm.

A food truck will also be onsite for those wanting to buy refreshments.

Stockland WA general manager Col Dutton said he was expecting a big turnout on the night and encouraged everyone to join in the festivities.

“What better way for our Amberton residents and visitors from surrounding areas to kick off the festive season than with a double movie screening under the stars,’’ he said.

“This is a great chance for friends, family and neighbours to get together and celebrate the festive season.”

Mr Dutton encouraged anyone attending the event to bring along rugs, chairs, pillows and even a picnic hamper so that they could watch the films in comfort.
