THE City of Wanneroo is assessing whether speed humps need to be installed on a section of Beachside Pde in Yanchep.

This follows the submission by North ward councillor Sonet Coetzee of a petition of 29 signatories requesting that the City of Wanneroo install speed humps on Beachside Pde between Zamia Rise and Templetonia Blvd.

An update on the petition presented at the September 13 ordinary meeting said a traffic count had been completed and an assessment of the road using the council’s local area traffic management policy was underway.

The update said a report would be provided to the council’s October 11 meeting.
