TWO Rocks, Alkimos and Eglinton are among the suburbs to record the fastest median leasing times in October, according to REIWA.
Data showed homes leased in a median of 16 days during October, the same as September, but one day slower than 12 months ago.
The suburbs recording the fastest median leasing times in October according to www.reiwa.com data were Innaloo (nine days), Two Rocks (11 days), Alkimos, Bayswater, Scarborough, Tuart Hill and Westminster (12 days) and Dianella, Eglinton and Mandurah (13 days).
There were 1955 properties available for rent on www.reiwa.com at the end of October.
This was 4.0 per cent lower than September, but 12.7 per cent higher than the same time last year.
On November 17 according to realestate.com.au the median rental price for Two Rocks was $560 per week – a growth of 3.7 per cent in the past 12 months.
The digital property advertising business said there were 38 houses available for rent in the past month with 194 leased in the past 12 months.
On November 17 Alkimos had a median rental price of $630 per week showing a growth of 14.5 per cent in the past 12 months.
There were 82 houses available for rent in the past month with 536 leased in the past 12 months.
During the same12-month period the median rental price for units in Alkimos was $550 per week up 15.8 per cent.
According to realestate.com.au one unit was available in the past month and 15 units were leased in the past year.
On November 17 Eglinton had a median rental price of $640 per week showing a growth of 11.3per cent in the past 12 months.
There were 64 houses available for rent in Eglinton in the past month with 295 leased in the past 12 months.
