Muchea and Bullsbrook bushfire downgraded

A BUSHFIRE bushfire watch and act – monitor conditionsis in place for people in an area bound by Tonkin Hwy to the east, Neaves Rd to the south, Kirby Rd to the west and Martin Rd to the north in parts of Bullsbrook and Muchea in the Shire of Chittering and the City of Swan.

At 3.33pm the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) said the bushfire – reported at 1.03pm – had been downgraded as fire behaviour had decreased.

But there is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is burning in the area and conditions are changing.

DFES said the bushfire was stationary but was not contained or controlled.

The City of Swan is managing the bushfire.
