Unless a Yanchep leader can be found the last rides are going to be on Friday, May 31 from the beach side of the cafe at Yanchep Lagoon.

Dear Yanchep News Online,

For the past year Cycling Without Age – Perth (Quinns Beach) has been bringing two trishaws up to do free rides at the Yanchep Lagoon on a Friday morning between 9.30am and 11.30am every three months.

Cycling Without Age Australia (CWAA) is a volunteer-led, grassroots movement that allows older adults and people with disabilities to experience ‘wind in their hair’ experience with trishaw rides.

This helps them connect with other people and the environment.

In our efforts to get a local resident to lead this activity we have also engaged with the staff at the Y.hub on Yanchep Beach Rd.

We have also advertised the role on Facebook and shared this with Yanchep sites.

Unfortunately, we have not been successful in finding anyone local to take this role on.

Unless we can find someone in Yanchep or Two Rocks to lead this activity the last rides are going to be on Friday, May 31 from the beach side of the café at Yanchep Lagoon.

Contact Simon on 0435 356 183 if you can help.

S Hemmings
