WA Police have charged a 66-year-old North Perth man after an explosion at a house in Ashby yesterday.
A police spokesman said the man had been charged with one count of attempting to manufacture a prohibited drug and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court via a bedside hearing today.
He said detectives still have concerns for a woman seen leaving the Taplow Pde house just after the explosion and are appealing for her to contact police.
