Jack Hallam from Ammo Marketing will kick off the coworking centre’s new Lunch and Learn series on September 28.

IF you want to learn some new business skills the Yhub is the place to be on September 28.

Jack Hallam from Ammo Marketing kicks off the coworking centre’s new Lunch and Learn series during which Yhub members and members of the public can grow their skills, meet other business owners and of course, enjoy lunch.

With a background in accounting, Mr Hallam understands the importance of business metrics and when it comes to marketing he believes there are 7 Commandments.

During the session Mr Hallam will explain how to build a solid marketing process and the importance of tracking your marketing efforts.

He said Ammo Marketing’s tips helped small business owners to clarify their marketing strategy and eliminate wasted time, money and effort on bad marketing.

This was especially true for innovative and start-up businesses because they were often selling something brand new which their customers did not know existed.

“It’s a challenge to sell something which people don’t even know they need,’’ he said.

He said marketing was an ongoing process, not a project.

“That’s why the aim of Ammo’s growth marketing strategy workshop is to help business owners create a clear, straightforward system which grows as their business grows.”

Mr Hallam will also tell some fun stories from his marketing adventures.

The Lunch and Learn series will be held at Yhub Coworking, 128 Yanchep Beach Rd from 1pm to 2pm.

It is being brought to Yanchep with the support of Beyond Bank and Spacecubed.

Lunch and Learn is free for Yhub members and $18 for the general public – lunch is included.
